Abstract

Democracies are sustained by citizens who have the requisite knowledge, skills, and dispositions. Because of civic education affect on people's beliefs, commitments, capabilities, and actions as members or prospective members of communities, developing civic education curricula is one of the important challenge for countries under development. This paper aims to analyze civic education programs in Georgia public schools and universities from the community service and public achievement approach.
